Be sure you're in a lot of pain before walking in the door because that will cost $150 (office visit) then I got 3 more charges: Chiropractic Treatment X2, $125 and $43, and Physical Therapy , $50, for a total of $368 in less than 1/2 hour. Good thing he didn't take x-rays. I asked the receptionist how much it would cost and her answer was "I'll need $150 today" which I assumed was the cost of the initial consultation and some credit toward future visits. Never assume. She could not tell me how much future treatment would cost until she saw my chart. I went to my follow up appointment wondering how much credit I had and asked her if she knew what the charges were. Because Dr. Rocco Nelson is in the Premera group of approved providers my initial visit was only $177.86 and future visits would be around $80+. It turns out $177.86 was the approved amount for their $386 billing for the initial visit. She told me several times that it went towards my deductible, as though it wasn't money, and told me how lucky I was to only have a $700 deductible. It seems she has been trained in the art of diversion - to the fact that I'm being ripped off. Try an ice-pack like I should have.
Dr. Nelson rocks. I have been seeing him regularly for the past year. When I started seeing Dr. Nelson I had chronic neck and shoulder pain. The pain is completely gone and I feel great now. Amazing. I only have to head back for an adjustment once a month or so to keep things on track. I highly recommend Dr. Nelson!!!
Hello, My name is Jessica, and I joined the 30/10 weight loss for life in Silverdale, WA. I am currently 32 years of age.
